Perhaps it's because you're doing everything for the wrong reasons, and in the wrong fashion. Losing weight can be very testing. Because of this, it's necessary to take on methods that really work. This way, you're motivation to stick with them is always up.</p>

<p> Of course when you go on a diet, soon enough you have to get off it. No one can really abide by a fad diet for extended periods of time. It's testing, and it can even spell disaster to your general health. Refrain from sticking to diets telling you <a href="http://www.shapeofyourlife.com/happylife">how to lose tummy fat</a> in a few days. The same is true with those expensive pills. Your pocket has slimmed down tremendously, but your bulging belly is still intact.</p>
<p> Having regular exercise is an indispensable part of attaining a leaner body. You can't expect to shed off fats by playing video games or gazing at your <a href="http://topforexindicator.com">forex indicator</a> program all day. Fitness authorities recommend 30-60 minutes of exercising a day, at least 3 times per week. And take on fun and interesting routines, so you don't get bored of them easily.</p>

<p> Your body shifts to starvation mode when you skip meals. And this will make it even more difficult to burn off those excess fats. Keep your sugar level stable and keep your metabolism going by eating small frequent meals. Try to eat 5-6 meals a day, instead of the usual big 3. In addition, reward yourself with small treats from time to time. Being too restrictive may result to wolfing down sweets uncontrollably.</p>
<p> Finally, quit focusing on being thin. Go for having a leaner and healthier body instead. You will find that it's easier to maintain your weight when your focus is on achieving a healthier you. Quit being too anxious about the numbers you see on the scale or measuring tape. Take on a healthier eating habit, as well as lifestyle, to be in a good physical shape.</p>

<p>I wanted to know if you think it's a good idea to do aerobics on my off days. I want to gain weight/muscle so I don't know if I should do that. If I do aerobics will that help build muscle or hurt when the muscles need rest? </p>

<p>Answer:</p>
<p>Doing some light aerobic work such as walking or cycling is not going to hinder your muscle gain goals. Doing too much aerobic work or going too hard during your aerobic work will, in fact, hinder your <a href="http://www.fitstep.com/muscle-explosion/explosive-muscle-building.htm">muscle gain</a>.</p>
<p>There are a few reasons for this. In order to gain muscle, you need to eat more calories than your body burns. If you do a lot of cardiovascular work, you're burning a lot of calories that your body could be using to build more muscle.</p>
<p>The other reason is that hard cardio training can increase breakdown of the muscle tissue you already have without providing a reason for your body to build larger muscles, as with weight training. By forcing your body to recover from hard cardiovascular training, you essentially decrease the available resources your body has for building extra muscle.</p>
<p>I would recommend sticking to 2 days a week of light aerobic work for about 20 to 30 minutes per session. Use this is as more of a cardio maintenance training rather than really trying to improve your fitness otherwise you may limit your muscle growth.</p>
<p>If you want to really improve your cardio, then you should focus your training on that. It is always easier to train towards just one goal rather than two goals.</p>
<p>And if increased cardiovascular capacity is a major goal, I highly recommend <a href="http://www.fitstep.com/Misc/Newsletter-archives/issue26.htm">interval training</a> as a very effective option.Instead of doing slow cardio training, you break it up into shorter, intense bursts of activity.</p>
<p>This will also have the advantage of being more compatible with <a href="http://www.fitstep.com/muscle-and-strength-building/muscle-and-strength-building.htm">muscle-growth training</a>.If you've seen the body of a sprinter compared the body of a long-distance runner, you'll know what I'm talking about...the sprinter is far more muscular.</p>
<p>So bottom line, if your main goal is weight gain, minimize cardio activity.</p>

<p>I am shocked to see that coaches do not use a <a href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_field_diagram.html">soccer field diagram</a> to teach the kids various soccer formations. Or else when they do, they don’t succeed in making the kids realize the importance of 4 key positions. These 4 positions are Forwards, Midfielders, Defenders, and the Goalie. Let’s individually talk about these.</p>
<p> Forwards: These are the players who place themselves by the opponent’s goal. Their task is to turn the passes into goals that other players at several positions in field make. Because they will be the ones who make maximum shoots to the goal, they need to be very tough. Its significance is greatest even when they are just okay in other talents.</p>
<p> Nonetheless, the other players shall apparently keep shifting from one position to a different position. Forward players when playing in the middle are known as strikers and when playing close to the touch lines, they are called wings. Yet, consistent with main role as forwards, they should be physically strong and have powerful shooting toes.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/formations">Soccer Formations</a></p>
<p>Mid-fielders: Those players who play in the middle of the field are called as mid-fielders. Their role is to grab the ball, pass it to the forwards so that they can further score the goals. They are generally 5 to 6 in number. In the soccer field diagram, make sure their position is clearly defined.</p>
<p> The concentration of the coach should be on improving the tackling and dribbling skills of the players. This is important from the point of view of taking the ball from the opposition and hence facilitating the attacks on opposition. Apart from this, they should be good at passing the ball. These are crucial soccer positions on the field diagram.</p>
<p> Defenders: These are players who save the attacks on their goals and hence the name defenders. As you can visualize, their position is crucial. They are about 3 to 5 in number and remain close to the goal to protect it.</p>
<p> Also, their task is to resume the ball from the goalkeeper and then pass it to the players. One skill that is primary to their armory is kicking the ball to far off midfielders and therefore the coach must help them develop this ability.</p>
<p> Goalie: This is the person who defends the goal post and never allows the attacks to convert to goals. When other players are not able to stop the attack, the goalie must use all his skills to avert the goal.</p>
<p> Since the goalie has the advantage of using his or her hands, the coach should use his creativity to invent special soccer tactics, drills and exercises that help him make the most of it.</p>
<p> Now that you know this, create a soccer field diagram and help your players understand it. This will help them in appreciating the importance and requirements of every position. <p>You've probably heard it a hundred times that it is a good idea to alter the intensity in <a href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_conditioning.html">soccer conditioning</a> on days following a competition. The result is an improved attempt in a match and a similar result in a workout. The coaches prefer to remain uncertain in their approach, anytime they are nearing a competition.</p>
<p> When you are nearing to a contest, adopt the policy of “less is more” as far as training is concerned. Carry on with the same amount of high intensity, however, cut down on number and duration of drills. It suggests an apt amount of incentive to continue with the performance. Coach’s performance is an exact contradiction.</p>
<p> What they do is enhance the intensity and number both resulting in negative effects of training and lot of strain. As such, the players are not in their fittest state on the day of competition.</p>
<p> This holds good for after match soccer fitness. Depending on the length of the match, players feel worn out, stiff, and pain in their muscles after the match is over. As such, it’s necessary to have a workout session subsequently for the players to recuperate. This has the effect of letting the player’s muscles rest and bounce back to their usual self.</p>

<p>Again ensure that these sessions are not extensive. In general, 15-30 minutes is more than perfect when it comes to the length of these workouts. Acting in response to the stress that arises during the match should be the goal.</p>
<p> The best method to recuperate after a match is to practice cooling down. This type of soccer conditioning goes a long way in cooling down the body and also keeping the flow of blood normal. In addition to static stretching, add some light activities too such as shuffling, skipping, and carioca.</p>
<p> Once you leave the field and get home, taking a cool or hot shower (whatever relaxes you) does wonders to this recovery process.</p>
<p> To reduce the ill effects of training, initiate some recovery sessions during, between, and after the soccer exercises. Long and strenuous sessions may cause the players to under-perform and also feel fatigued.</p>
<p> As the workouts come to a close, the intensity should start coming down. This will help the body get conditioned for the next session.</p>
<p> Follow the days of heavy soccer workouts with light exercises on another day. Include a complete day off in between when the players can rest. The stretching sessions must conclude the training sessions. Make the players do light movement drills, self-massage, as well as body stretches in this session. These help a great deal in reducing or eliminating the soreness that is the result of breakdown of muscle tissues.</p>
